I pulled this album out yesterday and it reminded me how good electro-industrial used to be. In fact, Polarity was probably one of the last great albums from the genre that wasn't by Front Line Assembly or Skinny Puppy.

Their Ninety-nine release was really cool too. It had a nice ambient/drum & bass/electronica vibe that I think many here would enjoy.

You know, out of all the electro-industrial bands Haujobb was one I never bought but always had meant to check out.

I want to hear this.

CD Universe has some pretty good clips. If you like Polarity you'll definitely like Solutions for a Small Planet (considered a classic by most fans of the genre). Ninety-nine is totally different though, so make sure you keep that in mind when you first hear it.

I loved Polarity and Vertical Theory, especially in the context of Haujobb's evolution. They had just come out of that weird Matrix/Ninetynine period (which I also like, just not as much), and it was the perfect blend of contemporary electronica/glitch/etc. and old school electronic industrial.
