Pick one place around the world that you'd like to travel to most. Try to post a pic of it as well.

Me?

Lhasa [the traditional capitol of Tibet]

Since I first saw photos of it when I was a kid, I've been obsessed with Tibet's landscape and culture. Lhasa has always been the most anticipated destination for me. Sonner or later I'll get there.

haven't been too many places really. Am going to Spain this summer. I have been all over the west coast, some of the east coast, Italy, Hawaii, the Caribbean.

I would like to see a lot more of Europe like France, Ireland, Great Britain plus about a million other places...top of the realistic list outside of Europe would be Alaska and the Canadian Rockies. I don't really care about hot, tropical places all that much.

Tibet/Nepal would be awesome as you say.

Venice, Italy

I've wanted to go for the past ten years now. It's top of my list. Frankly, I'd take all of Italy, but Venice just seems rather glorious.

I can't get a picture to post otherwise I would.

Brugge, Belgium would be nice... ahh, beer, bikes and chocolate.

Looking forward to going to Maui next month (10 year anniversary). It's been years since I've been there, and my husband has never been there, so it should be a treat.

Also looking forward to seeing Ireland next year.

My dream vacation would be a tour of all the Mediterranean nations. Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and Greece.

I want to go to one of those tiny countries with like 45 people that are located on WWII bunkers that fell out of territory.

oh, but when I mention going there i get a line of shit?

did you only pick places in this country out of avoiding anti-american hostility or just because you think it'd be more interesting? Just curious. wait where are you going for your honeymoon? I've asked you this like 6 times i'm sure.

i've been lucky enough to travel to many crazy and off the wall places around the world. i'm going to SE asia (thailand, cambodia, laos) this january, so i can cross that off my list (although i'd still love to go to vietnam).

i'm dying to go to cuba. also, after january i'll only have two continents left to visit, austrailia and antarctica, so i'd like to make it to both of those places in the next five-ten years.

done that. it was fucking amazing- we did the four day inca trail and i ended up with a 102 fever by the time we reached MP. i was practically hallucinating. good times. . .

this was about three or so years ago, but i have heard that due to new regulations, you have to plan way ahead if you want to do the trail, which is quite different from how it was when i went (every travel company in cuzco trying to get us to hike with them).

no, when you mentioned that you were STAYING there i gave you a line of shit. a never ending line, mind you, because you were doing it for the wrong reasons. i've just never been to those places. i don't really have any vested interest in living in any of them.

awesome. my wife and i looked into tours for the ruins, but we won't be headed there for another 2 years [denmark, iceland, norway are next year].

I've never been outside the continental US except for Hawaii and the Virgin Islands. I want to go to Europe so bad I can taste it. I have the money and Skymiles. All I have to do is pull the trigger.

I'm a simple man, I just want to hit Italy, specifically Rome and Tuscany region. I'd also like to go to Paris and get completely trashed in Amsterdam. Maybe drink some beer in Munich or go skiing in Austria/Switzerland.

Any of the above would be great.

i'll buy you lots of beer if you have a couch for me to sleep on! i plan on going back in november... gonna visit the mom/stepdad in chehalis, wa but then i can't hang there for long so i might skip out early and go to portland again.

my picks:
australia
tokyo

i've never been out of the country, so anywhere outside of the us would be nice.
