Ok, now first off, I dig kids and moms. I'm not hating on either. But...

Does anyone else find soon-to-be mothers kind of annoying at times? The night and day attitudes, the constant chatting about what they're gonna buy for the kid, the "hey look at this catalog, isn't this stroller so fucking cute!!!!" shit. The "oh i'm having a good day today" or "oh, i feel really bad today, but i'm soooooo hungry i could eat an antelope". And do all soon-to-be mothers suddenly turn into child-birthing pros the first month they're pregnant?

Can you tell I work with one?

Good lord. Is there anything I can do to make this baby pop out of her faster??

Um, Dalen, it's called hormones. And during and after pregnancy, they can be imbalanced. Plus give the girl a break. If she's excited, she's excited!

What she said. It IS an exciting thing. And you do go a little batty sometimes.

But I can sympathize to some extent, I worked with two pregnant women this year. One acted like she was dying and couldn't function because she was pregnant, the other just COMPLAINED about it non stop. I wanted to kill em both. And told them that if I became pregnant anytime in the next year I'd make them both miserable at work in retaliation.

hahaahaa

D, i totally understand, but it's just a bit much quite a lot of the time. She's totally consumed by it, which is understandable.

I just wish I had a switch that could turn her volume down every once in a while.

I'm surprised your wife hasnt hit you up for kids yet, D.

That would be an interesting dynamic; god knows it changed my brother into an entirely different person.

I know him not.

Actually, if you kick hard enough, it forces the air out of the lungs, which in turn keeps the screams muffled.

That was one thing I was super concious of when planning mine. Plus I didn't like talking about the details of it.

The place, date and time, and our song choices perhaps. But the rest, even I could give a crap about what color our napkins were.
