Does anyone have a list of what's being released on Tuesday. I need to plan. Now, I know the new Broken Social Scene is out. Any others I should know about?

It's probably a bad thing when you've released so many albums that no one gives a crap about the one you're about to release.

Franz Ferdinand comes out here. Not heard any of the new stuff, probably pick it up none-the-less.

It's not Horrendous...

But it's not all that great either...

The whole "synthpop" category has been moving forward over the past few years, while the L-Tron seem to have regressed since "604", thinking that guitars = new and innovative sounds...

Sioux And The Banshees' first album is supposed to be remastered and rereleased for the 4th, I think.

Buyer beware: released only as crappy "'will it play anywhere' roulette" DualDisc and copy-protected CD (with Sony's nasty new XCP scheme that is reportedly VERY stubborn to get through, but some reports say Audiograbber works - holding down the Shift key or disabling Autorun does NOT work on these discs.) I won't be supporting either of these technologies - DualDisc is crap and copy-protection is an insult.

i won't support 'em either. dualdisc's are a sham & any format that won't allow me to copy to mp3, which is all i listen to anyway, isn't worth my time+$.

The Miracle Mile Glow gets a Oct 3 release in the UK. Probably never here in the US. It's one I'm probably gonna be looking for a good deal on sometime in the near future. Not a suggestion or recommendation or anything, just a comment. Not really too jazzed about anything coming up in the next couple weeks except that and maybe Dirty Three and Silver Jews. Maybe the Magnolia Electric Co too, but need to hear some of it first. Probably got almost enough new music for awhile. Don't know how some of you are able to digest so much new music. Sometimes I really need to spend a lot of time with them to find out what's there :)

A few additions I am interested (although not necessarily getting):

Deftones: Rarities, Covers and Videos (Cocteau Twins?!?)
Friends of Dean Martinez: Lost Horizon
Kiss Me Deadly: Misty Medley (alien8)
v/a: Goth Electro Tribute to Depeche Mode
Special Tribute to Pink Floyd
Roger Waters: Ca Ira

Hmmm...

So what you're telling me is that I don't have to buy anything next week?

SCORE...

There are a number of things I want, but I don't have my list handy...Besides Ms. Apple, none were on that list.
