blew my fucking mind, tonight. Was anyone else at the DC show? There aren't too many Virginia/DC "Obners" as far as I know. But Jesus. Wow, holy shit. Fuck.

I wanted to cry. I was so happy and excited, this was my first time seeing them. It was awesome, and now I completely understand why people pay up to 1000 or so to see them.
I missed John Mayer, not sad at all. I wish I could see them in Charlottesville this Thursday. I'm sure all of you have seen them before, but this was my first time and it was amazing.

Just thought i'd let you know.

Does anyone else think Keith looks like sloth from the goonies mixed with a melting candle and an aged man?

I think even their harshest critics will admit that they still put on a damn great show.

I haven't seen them in about 25 years and there was talk then that they would soon pack it in!! "See them now while you can"

Amazing.

Steve

Yeah I couldn't believe it. My mom is going to Charlottesville Thursday. She's seen them numerous times, and she was really excited that I was able to see them. I'm skipping the second half of school to go home and sleep and catch up on my 15 project series in art that's due tomorrow... and to talk to her about everything that happened.
She was interrogating me before school today and I just didn't have time to tell her all about it.

I'm so glad you had a blast, girl. Yeah, they can still get it, right? It doesnt hurt to have an utterly mongergous supporting cast that includes such convicts as Chuck "I like young, dark, trim" Levell, Bobby "Rape" Keys, Blondie "I woke up in an alley" Chaplin and Darrell "The Big Spade" Jones.

Seventeen year old broads are going to their first Stones show and loving it in 2005??? Damn, my faith in the youts of America has been temporarily restored.

Cant wait for next Saturday.

Keith played two songs in the middle of the set by himself (meaning without Mick) and they were both terrible. He can't keep the rest of the band together to save his life. He looked embarrassed singing "Infamy".

But yeah, it was a great show. I'm also seeing them this Thursday in Charlottesville.

Yeah my mom is dreading Keiths songs. He looked the same all through the show, though. He looked like a melting candle. I wish I could go with you, again!

Yeah, I thought we had an extra ticket but we don't. Not that it would matter.

Agreed. "Thief in the Night" it is not........(and lets not even mention BTMMR or Happy)

Hey Busty, are you feeling the new Stones album? I'm pretty down with about 80-85%.

Dude, you keep talking like this is going to be OPEN DEATH but I believe it's going to be our finest hour sir.

Open death is Sunday.

Thanks for posting this cemetary. This just gets me more amped for next weekends show here in the ATL.

I'm digging most of the new record and even the HORRIBLE songs could break into my Top 10 most mongerous Stones songs which is an honor in itself.

I've only seen them once but the crowd was great. Everyone one around me was boozing it up and just getting crunk. It's funny because debauchery is pretty accepted at a Stones show. Even the older folks who weren't partying were looking at the younger crowd with an "ahhh the torch has been passed" air. Good times.

I hope you have a great time, I really had no idea it would be this amazing. I just remember smiling and giggling the entire night, and I couldn't stop laughing after the show because I was so happy. Of course if I saw Tom Waits I think he'd top this show byfar. Just because he's my favorite. Not that i'm trying to compare the two, but in terms of incredible shows I think i'd enjoy Tom Waits a lot more because of how important he is to me. You know?

This reminds me of when I hung out with some Grandparents from at Jazzfest during Bob Dylan's set.

When I went in 97 at The GA Dome some old ass hippie burned a fucking hogleg with me during the "Bridge" part...started telling me about seeing them in 69...he was like "I am so glad kids your age love the Stones still"

October 15th will probably cause the sun to stop burning, cos its gonna be the death of all of us. Actually, after 2002 run, I don't know what we can do to top it. Maybe a showing like Bloor and I had at the Pixies last year?

I feel the same exact way. Dude, I love this album for the most part. Sucks about the Keif stuff too, cause I usually look forward to his stuff a good bit. But Infamy is...uh, I'm sorry...I just threw up in my mouth a little. And not in a good way.
