St. Francis Day - Isn't this the day we bring the pets to school to be blessed? We used to at our little Episcopal grammar school.

I had a fleeting dream about Pollard last night, no details to light yet, I just remember the appearance. So in honour of the memory today will be:

GBV - my comp mix
U2 - Unforgettable Fire
Gorky's Zygotic Mynci - Sleep/Holiday
Iron & Wine/Calexico - In the Reins

It's a sprawling monster that I'm still trying to take in - and, honestly, I'm more intersted in Jon Brion's work than Kanye's. First impression is that it's just too clean and mainstream for my tastes (but that doesn't come as a surprise), but there's some interesting shit going on.
