Not sure yet.... but I am definitely looking forward to the debut release of Controller.Controller. Their EP was in my Top 20 last year, and the new album hits next week.

I think you'll be quite pleased with the full-length. I don't recall enjoying the EP (or maybe I'm thinking of someone else?), but this is solid.

Favorite new album by a female-led band would be Kore Ga Mayaku Da by Afrirampo.

You heard it already?! Nice.... I've been eagerly waiting for this. When I saw them on their tour with DFA79, they played 2 new songs (which sounded good) that weren't on the EP.




How is the full-length? This is one of the tracks I enjoyed most on your indie mix.



You should hear the new Fabric by Death in Vegas.... it's actually pretty good.

No I think it's only available as an import. They had it at their show but it was like $15. I can YSI it if you don't have it.

I just listened to this for the first time in a while. It's damn good, and it's really grown on me. I was kinda put off by the vocals, but once I got past that I really started to get into it. Probably year-end list material.

I don't have much to add to this thread except that Busdriver - Fear of a Black Tangent is a good hip-hop album. I've probably only heard a handful of new hip-hop albums this year, though, so I admittedly don't know shit.

Forgot about Pelican - that album is aces...
I've only heard 2 songs off the Lightning Bolt, but that seems solid as well..
