they did say that the reason they re-recorded these songs was to make it more indicative of their current live performances, and i must say i do like the way these songs sound, as dictated by the band's myspace website. yes, gang of four has a myspace page, as does mission of burma, alongside bands like hawthorne heights and coheed and cambria.

i do think i'll be picking this one up.

Will this come with a second disc of remixes? That's what I first heard, but based on the recent VH1 Classic interview with the band, it sounds like those will be saved for a separate release at a later date.
