It seems like people are coming on back to the dark side, haha.

Anyways I saw shmoo on last night with South Pacific logging on for the first time ever. Just went to tell my friends about the Strokes leak and Drinky Crow is back on-line after quite a big lay off.

What name do you use on 5l5k? Maybe we can get the old 'obner' room going again!

BeeOK is my name, of course.

Zombeels, good to see another Jack Drag fan on the board. Very much looking forward to his new band Submarines with Blake Hazard.

OK, I don’t want to come off like a dick so let me explain why I said haha. A network of about 20 to 50 people can no way compete with something that has a few hundred thousands on at anytime of the day. Also my taste is so eclectic that Collinsworth could never satisfy my itch.

I bought a new computer so I’m starting to put up my very rare collection and am so popular that it kind of scars me. Last week this guy downloaded my Boo Radleys stuff, all 26 singles and some other stuff. I in turn looked at his files and he had this slowdive file with about 75 rare songs that I have never seen before. I had to ask Spinning Plates some questions about it because I know their stuff and wanted to know about all these songs. This person also had something by Chapterhouse called Rownderbowt that I heard existed by have never seen. I talked with guy tonight and he said that three people have downloaded my A Boo-sides Collection and was surprised.

I also have another friend who wants to put me on his radio show because he loves my taste. We are looking into how we can do this.

It’s the network that you can’t beat and I know I’m a total homer about it but I have my reasons.

Zombeels has over 12,000 music files as well, some goodness to be had.

edit: there are 8 of us in 'obner' room tonight and Idiopathic got your message but was at best buy but you have been added.

bortbort

now sharing just the bort compilations and comps-in-progress at times. drop me a line though and i'll see what i can do for ya. i'd like to be in on c-wood but it's not technically feasible on my end. i've made an entire 60s/70s reggae collection from FnB on slsk alone.

peace

But still to this day I've not figured out how to get several people's files. I get "error, unable to load list" on several of your collections. I pretty much realize that it has to do with properly configuring my computer to work with the soul that seeks...(does that help cover our tracks?) but am perpetually confused as to how to do it.

Is there anybody here that can walk me through configuring my computer to better share my stash and participate in sharing the rest of yours?

And while we are at it, does anybody here have the Maurice Jarre soundtrack to Dead Poet's Society? I've been trolling for it for days without any luck and am growing frustrated. I realized the other night that a lot of the power of this movie has to do with the comination of stunning visuals with the celtic-esque score of Jarre, and want to see if the music stands up independent of the movie. I tend to think it would, but cannot find anyone who has it.... grrrrr.
