there was this dude I worked at the chinese restaurant in college with who was always down on his luck. and low on money, mainly due to his obsessive gambling habit, of which he had god awful luck. to get him money (and for our own entertainment) we set up various eating challenges:

    4 quarterpounders in 2 minutes.
A mayonnaise submarine. only mayo in a sub bread (he insisted the mayo NOT be low/no fat. he was obese, guys).
A stick of butter like a candy bar.

that mayo sandwich thing was the worst to watch.

I once consumed 43 McNuggets in one sitting to claim the record. It was later broken.

I can eat an entire bag of microwave popcorn in one sitting.

Hey, the bag says it's for 3 servings.

Now at least I understand why there's all that pooping in the first-thing-in-the-AM/last-thing-in-the-PM thread.

I would have been fine with the thread without the mayo thing. Man, I hate mayo...

Not sure if this is as big as we think it is...

Two Chipotle Burritos in one sitting. (about 15 minutes)

My friend who did it was dry heaving after like half of the 2nd. I was crying because I was laughing so hard. Very classic moment. After seeing him do that though, it disgusts me to even eat one of those and I love that shit!

We have these 2-gallon buckets of pickle spears at the restaurant I work at- we put a pickle on each plate. When the pickles are gone, there is usually about a half-bucket (one gallon, give or take) of pickle juice left. We paid one of our dishwashers $10 to drink it all. With a 5 minute limit. There were seeds in there too... he vomited a LOT. But got his $10.

i ate about 10 large paper napkins when asked to at dinner a couple of months ago. It was a lot harder than you might think. I went to a restaurant and got 1.5 kg of rump steak a while back too. That was pretty tastey.

How much money? I'm down. Any hot sauce/spicy food challenges I'm game for.

well the way we did it was buy his food then give him $10 each if he actually did it. if he was successful, he scored like $40

the Admiral's challenge (never been done):

24 hush puppies in 15 minutes or less

the Cinnabon overdose:

2 large cinnabons in one setting. You don't get to get up from the table for anything.

One night while sitting around (drinking) during a power failure, we bet my friend $20 that he couldn't eat one of the candles we had lit. He did it, but I doubt it was worth $20.
