This would be better with pictures, but I'm at work and not that much of slacker to spend the time digging up the links.

I'm planning to devote a whole wall of a room to framed albums when I move. My criteria for choosing 'em is kick ass album (listmania quality) with a cool cover I won't get sick of looking at and not be a super rarity that i'll cost me an arm & a leg. And in the end I want the collection to reflect the overall variety in my taste.

I have:

Gang of 4 - Entertainment
VU - VU & Nico
Sex Pistols - Never Mind...
The Clash - S/T
English Beat - I Just Can't Stop It
Bob Marley - Survival
Caetano Veloso - S/T 1970
Curtis Mayfield - Superfly
David Bowie - Ziggy
Salif Keita - Soro
Ramones - Rocket to Russia
Smiths - Hatful of Hollow
Gram Parsons - GP

Am looking for/considering:

Gil Scott Heron - Pieces of a Man
Eugene McDaniels - Headless Heroes...
Donny Hathaway - Everything is Everything
Eddie Gale - Ghetto Music (might cost too much though)
The Harder They Come OST
Zombies - Odyssey & Oracle
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Love - Forever Changes
Archie Shepp - Attica Blues
Augustus Pablo - East of the River Nile
Funkadelic - Cosmic Slop or Maggot Brain
Fela Kuti (undecided which)

Recommend more

From a quick skim of what I have that I would enjoy:
Neil Young :: Harvest
Al Green :: Call Me
T. Rex :: Electric Warrior
Curtis Mayfield :: Curtis (Though you already have Superfly)

Also, everything by the Ohio Players.

We had a framed one of this with a weed leaf (dried) in the bottom right corner.

QUAL.

There's a track streaming at http://www.bigdada.com/spankrock. Here's a repost of a track I put up a while ago: What It Look Like. Album's out late winter on Big Dada. "Put That Pussy On Me" 12s are out now on Money Studies. Voila Mix is currently available through Big Dada.

I really have been meaning to do this for a long time.

Off the top of my head, there's this one that I really want to have for framing:

Does anyone know if he has a collection of his photographs for sale???

edit: Yeah, The Afghan Whigs have some great album covers...
