Abosolutely shocking. You mean to tell me that those enormous arms aren't natural?!

Nice post Steve and I agree.

Also, Barry Bonds has had this hanging over his head for a while now also. What if Giambi comes back, bats below .250, and hits half the normal number of home runs? The murmurs about Barry will only increase.

Didn't Giambi already do that in 2004?

Personally, if Bonds is guilty, I just hope it's proven before he breaks Aaron's record.

No. Captain Caveman had that steroid addicted worm that lived in his lower intestine that sucked the life right out of him and made his eyes all red. Said worm limited him to half the at bats as the previous season.

Although assuming he remained consistent he would have only hit 24 home runs as compared to hitting 41 home runs his previous 2 steroid riddled years.

And the wheels start to come off. Five years ago, I could have worked up a head of righteous rage about the collapse of institutions and publci trust..now I just say "meh"

Does it piss me off? kinda, but I'm more just saddened, but also realize that this is just another of the myriad symptoms that lead me to abandon being a baseball fan in the first place.

Hey Barry, you see that little light flashing in the corner of your eye? It's your career dissipation light, and it just went into high gear.

More like legacy dissipation; my kids will be taught that Henry Aaron is the Home Run Champ until somebody beats that shit legitimately (A-Rod?)

Steroids shrink dicks. That picture's inaccurate.
