i'm practically shitting myself over this album. Just kidding, that's gross and "unladylike" but when have I ever acted like a lady? Anyways. This album is absolutely beautiful. I am by no means a good music reviewer so I won't even attempt to do it, but jesus. Anyone else like it?

Anyone want a YSI? I'd be glad to set up a link, if anyone cares.

I need to buy this.
I saw him on the Dig... tour and yeah, the songs were great. As big a fan as I am, I cannot believe that I do not own this yet.

Gotta get The Convincer, too... which is in a similar vein.

Damn.

Wow, I can't believe you don't have either of these, Todd. Polka's right - Dig My Mood is an amazing album (and The Convincer is more melodic but slighter). The term "growing old gracefully" applies here - instead of the ol' smartass Nick Lowe he honestly taps in to the sadness and disappointment in his life. Greatness.

I'd be more than happy to send you the album so you can temporarily have it until you physically purchase it.

This is the best album i've bought in a long time.

Thanks so much for the offer, but I think that, between your and Radcliffe's raves.... it has jumped to the top of my next-to-buy list. (Right next to Transa, when I can find it in an actual store).

I don't own The Convincer, but Dig My Mood is indeed great. Haven't listened to any Lowe in ages, but a friend was just playing his best of-Basher. So maybe it's a sign I need to haul his stuff out and have a listen.
