Sallypally has been posting.

Red Peter is the guy that posts every post with a monkey face, and refers to himself in the third person (or perhaps is posting for his pet chimpanzee).

Jack Daniels had a brief introductory thread, and then died of alcoholism.

Killer Whale just started posting, and several people (including myself) like him already.

The rest of youse, though...(wags finger)...

Al Pastor is an awesome name. I hope that's his real name and he's actually a reverend. Pastor Pastor.

Or it could be a Mexican name.

http://www.batista.org/pastor.html

In Mexico city there are taquerias dedicated mostly or even exclusively to tacos al Pastor. Tacos al Pastor are made from pork meat that has been marinated in a secret recipe and then cooked in a rotisserie with pineapple on top. The tacos should be very small (almost like 2 bites size) and garnished with cilantro (coriander), chopped onion and the pineapple. Add your favorite hot sauce.

Jeebus! you're right about te third person thing! I looked at all four of peter's posts and peter always refers to peter that way!

what's up with that? And what's with the chimp? Maybe his pet monkey is posting for HIM.

Then why isn't it Shakespeare?

It's an affectation -- a lot of people do it. (The third person thing -- don't know about the monkey.)

Guilt complex much? He didn't say it was a bad thing. "You go" is a colloquialism, usually a positive expression. I believe Oprah started it, a la "You go, girl". But knowing her, she just adopted it and made it big.

I've been called a lot of things but this is a new one! Thanks Cemetery!
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=harlots

Word History: The word harlot nowadays refers to a particular kind of woman, but interestingly it used to refer to a particular kind of man. The word is first recorded in English in a work written around the beginning of the 13th century, meaning “a man of no fixed occupation, vagabond, beggar,” and soon afterwards meant “male lecher.” Already in the 14th century it appears as a deprecatory word for a woman, though exactly how this meaning developed from the male sense is not clear. For a time the word could also refer to a juggler or jester of either sex, but by the close of the 17th century its usage referring to males had disappeared.

I have already asked to work less days on my part-time job (I work two jobs) and I dedicate virtually every Sunday morning to Obner. I'd be the first person in line at an Obner blood drive except I lived in England and they won't let me give blood on account of mad cow (or foot and hoof, not sure why) I'd bake cookies for you folks except I am renovating an old house and do not have a functioning stove right now. I post way less at the Elliott Smith board than I ever have just so I can post here more. I have contemplated an Obner tatoo. I try and read Obner daily even if I don't post daily. I've developed mad crushes on certain avatars. I've made mixes inspired by songs I've learned here. I've learned how to speak Navajo just in case any Navajo-speaking music lovers join. I, I, I...what else can I do to increase my post count and respect here?

Fondly,
MiceElf
