This shit has been dropping like a rock for the past two weeks or so and I finally saw it drop below two bucks yesterday.

Petroleum executives in front of Congress and gas prices dropping? Coincidence? I think not.

it's 1.98 where I go to school in the afternoon. I rejoiced when I saw it. I saw a heavenly light descending upon the holy gas station and I cried and sang praises to jesus.

Not really. but god, I was excited. I atleast smiled.

Might I add, where I go to school in the morning, and where I live, it's still 2.11. Fuck the west end.

If you're ever in Westlake on Detroit Road, look for a BP gas station that tends to sell gas for $.10-.20 cents below the average price in the area. That place gets hammered before work and during rush hour.

BP in Richmond is usually the most expensive gas around.

Yeah Georgia has notoriously low gas prices because these yahoos are smart enough to keep the state taxes on the big three essentials (gas, cigs and booze) low.

Plus, no sales tax on food!

Also, some of the worst schools in the country!

For the first time since I've been in LV, gas is cheaper here than a lot of the rest of the country- about $2.34 for regular.

Yeah in the past week I've seen it drop from around $2.49 to $2.09. Haven't seen one below $2 yet though. It's weird that I was driving down this one street and saw one gas station's lowest price was $2.49 and not one block away the next place had it for $2.19. I should go check out the Hess station since they usually have the lowest prices around here.

If you wanna locate the cheapest gas prices in your area, you can go to AAA's website or www.gasbuddy.com.

Turns out that my gas station a few blocks away is $2.39/gallon -- not bad at all.

$1.97 for regular last nite at the BP up by where I work. I filled up there the other day for $2.07, but that was the middle grade gas ( Out of "Regular" - "Plus" - "Premium" ) .

The Speedway next to Giant Eagle/McDonald's/I-90? I live right down the street from that gas station, in the neighborhood facing Lorain County Community College.

You're doing better'n me. With the stop and go and long light idling, I'm lucky if I average 14. Can't wait to see what the new Windsor gets. [/shudder]

Well this settles it. I'm going on a pointless motorcycle ride through the countryside this afternoon.

Yeah, well, you have dolphins for transportation. Those of us who live near the Great Lakes have to drive monster trucks just to survive the winter.
