- for my mother's strength and perspective.
- for the honest of everyone in my family these past five months.
- for my long-distance firends who appreciate my effort to see them.
- for the Internets and everyone I've met through it.
- for music, books, movies, and all art that's affected me for feeding my sould.
- for beer and unhealthy foods for tasting so good.
- for healthy food for making me look better when I think that's important enough.
- for digital technology, which helps me enjoy music and movies more conveniently, allows me to create more quickly and effectively than I could with my hands, a pen, and paper.
- for my brain and heart, which have been probably my two greatest assets in this life.
- for the freedom to figure out my relationship with the rest of the Universe on my own terms.

How exactly does one sign up for that job? I no longer qualify for such a task, but there was an embarassingly long period of time when I did. Is there a signup sheet? A guantlet to run? Bloodtests? GMAT / SAT scores?

lol..... i don't know what else to call him, it's just some dude i've been dating for awhile but we're nothing "official." and he's great because he doesn't annoy me, nor does he drive me crazy (which is rare) so i'm thankful for that!

but i do require your ssn#, background check, and a cavity search to pass the test.

- my dogs, who are the most adorable sweet pups ever

- my family, even though they're dysfunctional, they're always going to be there for me

- the fact that I have a roof over my head, can feed myself and still have money left over to be frivolous or charitable
- my job, even though it can be very frustrating at times-- I can't think of a place where I'd be given so much free reign to learn and grow
