- for my mother's strength and perspective.
- for the honest of everyone in my family these past five months.
- for my long-distance firends who appreciate my effort to see them.
- for the Internets and everyone I've met through it.
- for music, books, movies, and all art that's affected me for feeding my sould.
- for beer and unhealthy foods for tasting so good.
- for healthy food for making me look better when I think that's important enough.
- for digital technology, which helps me enjoy music and movies more conveniently, allows me to create more quickly and effectively than I could with my hands, a pen, and paper.
- for my brain and heart, which have been probably my two greatest assets in this life.
- for the freedom to figure out my relationship with the rest of the Universe on my own terms.

* the sun, the moon and the stars.
* my awesome friends who put up with me and weird ways.
* music, music, music that lifts my soul every single day.
* my supportive family.
* memories of my mom ... the dreams i have of her that make me feel close to her even 2 years after she passed away.
* having a job i love.
* for my bright-eyed enjoyment/amusement of quirky little things in life that make it worth living.
* for drew and gabriel (my pseudo-nephews) whose hugs and smooches make my spirit shine.

That I'm not in some desert getting my leg/arm/head blown off. Props to them that are.

Everything else pales in comparison.

How exactly does one sign up for that job? I no longer qualify for such a task, but there was an embarassingly long period of time when I did. Is there a signup sheet? A guantlet to run? Bloodtests? GMAT / SAT scores?

lol..... i don't know what else to call him, it's just some dude i've been dating for awhile but we're nothing "official." and he's great because he doesn't annoy me, nor does he drive me crazy (which is rare) so i'm thankful for that!

but i do require your ssn#, background check, and a cavity search to pass the test. ;)

- my husband, who is my biggest champion, supporter, inspiration, friend and lover
- my dogs, who are the most adorable sweet pups ever
- my friends, who are more like family to me
- my family, even though they're dysfunctional, they're always going to be there for me
- music, art, movies, books, and along with that, the ability to see, hear, taste and experience all around me
- my health, and the health of those around me
- the fact that I have a roof over my head, can feed myself and still have money left over to be frivolous or charitable
- my job, even though it can be very frustrating at times-- I can't think of a place where I'd be given so much free reign to learn and grow
- of course, you guys... how else am I supposed to stay hip and current?

-my friends
-and some new plans I've got going on right now

I'm thankful for the fact that despite it seems the world is full of assholes and dipshits, there are quite a few people like Sketch. They just don't get as much airtime.
