Dri, I know you're gonna read this. You're in a for a night full of energy!! Charlotte is fuckin' hot -- a petite sexy lil' vixen who jumps all over the damn stage, bangin' her bass. Billy plays it loud and proud! And Josh made incredible noise on his lil' drum kit. Sorry to say, it was a short set (10 songs) but they had Spaceland bouncing and cheering 'em on. Who'd a thought industry types would actually pay attention?

They're doing a proper tour in March and will be at SXSW. Yay!!

What is it about chicks and bass?

D, she's adorable! I think she's barely 5' - 5'1", weighs maybe 95 lbs drippin' wet and very sweet. The whole band was super nice -- fresh, young things barely 20-21 years old, who are genuinely excited to be touring. They'll be at Cinespace tonight -- catch 'em if you can.

okay i was looking for the review (figured you'd post it).

so it was complete, utter madness getting in cinespace. we didn't get in until about 12, and the band didn't go on until about 1230 or so. it was a short set, but a set full of goddamn energy. that lil chick is HOT (and how convienent jake said he wanted to marry her ) and all the guys were screaming for her. billy was all over the place, climbing on top of the speakers, and their enthusiasm for playing la showed through. it was awesome.

so, check them out if you get the chance. the us version of the album comes out in feb 06.
