Well, the Cubs have made the playoffs recently. I was going for teams that totally haven't even competed in the last 10 years. The Royals could be added, as could the Reds I guess.

I know they've won championships within the last ten years, but how about the Bronx Bombers. They have a $200million payroll, A-Rod, Riviera, Jeter, Randy Johnson, etc. and what have they mustered in the last 5 years?

But they can't maintain their spending with the lack of fan support...

Maybe you could explain how the devil rays are better? They had the second worst record in the majors last year which was worse than their 2004 record. I doubt Lou Piniella would agree with you.

Which formula is that? I don't really see the parallels. I guess they both have had good young pitchers over the years, but their offenses are entirely different.
