Boston College vs Maryland - College Hoops
Sunday, 11 December 1.00am GMT

The Eagles of Boston College get a taste of live in the ACC when they travel to Maryland to take on the Terrapins.

Or this game?

I'd take the Terps at home.

Life on the road in the ACC is a bitch.

Might be a good game though; I'm sorry I'm not much help here, I dont start following College hoops untilafter the Super Bowl.

no worries, indeed. most of these people only pretend to like soccer because they were too pussy to play a real (american) sport growing up or think that its "cool" to root for a non-mainstream sport.

And while I sort of fall into the former category (I played football competively until it was just apparently laughable) I'll never understand the mass international appeal of soccer.....not that I begrudge the community spirit of the fandom (its only paralell is college football in the States)---I've just never really been a fan of the games themselves.

Yeah i never really liked football i just happened to be pretty good from 10 Yold. Had to go trials(my father) and ended up playing for Notts County(Div 2 minor league side) youth team upto 15.

Then discovered beer, cigarettes & girls and gave up.

I grew up and England (lived their 8+ years) and played soccer (football) as well as basketball and baseball. Hopefully you don't consider me one of these people and if you do you are mistaken.

I did the same thing. I lived near Ipswich (Stowmarket) when i was four until i was 8 and was a big Ipswich fan. Later from the ages of 11-15 i lived just north of Oxford (Bicester) and got into Liverpool during the John Barnes, Ian Rush, Beardsley, Grobbelar? time frame because they were actually on TV. Once i moved back to the states i've supported ITFC and see them lose in the Championship playoffs on an annual basis.

The BC-Maryland game should be the better of the two, but The Dreaded Marco will tell you different. Never trust a Husky.
