Exploration by Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion. Here's AMG's review:

Charming and gentle. That's what this album is. And sometimes, (ie Sunday morning) that is what I want to listen to. Good, folkish pop that has a hint of a message and never seems cheesey. Doubt that all on this board would like it but I have it hovering somewhere in the bottom of my 20 best of 2005 list.

Sebastien Schuller - Happiness

An absolutely outstanding album, that sounds like a cross between Air and Radiohead. #7 in my 2005 Top Ten. I think the only other person on this board that is feelin' this is Beachy.

Ben Folds - Songs for Silverman but that's probably because it's a terrible album.

Particularly Jaga Jazzist's "What We Must" got less love than deserved. But also these:

Earth
Esmerine
Harris Newman
TTC
Vashti Bunyan

I'd imagine I was the only person that liked Sebastian Tellier's album and that everyone else felt kinda pissed off for buying it after having heard 'La Ritournelle'.

I love that Jaga Jazzist and it was this board that turned me on to it.

I also liked the Shining album, but its going to be hard to put that album and What We Must on my top 20 because they're so similar sounding.
