I AM LAUGHING OUT LOUD AT THE CITY OF CHICAGO ;)

Its like 40 down here in Mobile, which qualifies our genius amateur weather people to say stuff like "It gits any cowlder, 's gonna snaow!"

yeah, it's painfully cold out today. My friend's car windows were icy on the inside as well as the outside.

T.H.O. in full effect.

You secretly have a death wish right?? You're a strange duck Matt.

I only ventured out this morning to the grocery store then back to my cozy place.

I try not to venture out in this kinda cold, I have zero tolerance for it.

Plus my work has had no heat for three weeks so I've barely worked cause of it(they won't let the pregnant lady sit and freeze all day, how kind of em) but I do have a fucking nasty cold to show for it. Supposedly they fixed our heat today. If they didn't I"m boycotting work til they do.

I think I have that same nasty cold (or flu), Jen. My temperature last night was a fantastic 103, so I took the day off and stayed on the couch watching Maury and other fine programming.

Awful daytime rocks man. Sorry to hear you've got the worse end of it. I hope you start to feel better soon! I've just mainly lost all capabilities of breathing and slight hearing. I'm not allowed to take anything for it sadly except for Afrin, which I may now have developed a minor addiction to. It's been a week now and I want to breathe and sleep, that would be awesome.

i've got a nice viral infection with laryngitis, so going out in this weather isn't too kind. i usually like cold weather, though.

Yeah - usually I don't have much of a problem with the weather, but when you're sick and can't take 9 blankets outside with it, it stinks.

I can't wait to find out what I said to my boss when I called in sick - I was totally out of it, and I think I forgot who I was calling when I left the message.

Tell it like it is, splates.

It was -20c for a week (that's -5f before the windchill) and then it dumped 15in. on us. That's a lot of snow, but it ain't even cold. Talk to me when you know what -45f feels like. No, you step.

farhenheit is totally hilarious, especially the two points of reference that so-called "scientist" used when devising the scale....
