Are non-musicians available for induction? Say, prominent people in the field of music who don't/didn't actually play anything themselves or gain notoriety as a musician?

If so, who qualifies as this that is in there?

There's a whole wing named after Ahmet Ertegun.

Here, let's make this easier. I'll pretend you didn't know they had a website with all the inductees.

i went to the building, it was ok.

i thought Seatle's Experience Music Project was much better and more directed at fans of music. The Hall is mostly just cool stuff on the wall which got boring after a while.

I was going to ask if Phil Spector was in yet, but it appears he is.

So when is John Peel eligible? And do you think he'll actually be inducted?

Most assuredly that he will, dog. His influence was too great not to be recognized.

As much as I would like to agree with you, I believe that americans in general have know I idea who John Peel. Yet it seems everybody knows who KC Kasem is. It is a shame really.

as long as KISS is never considered for the Hall of Fame, my boycott continues

how you can not have the band with the most gold records of any american artist is totally unfathomable (especially since that's the kind of standard those morons consider)
