Anyone used this stuff?
Ipod Abuse
25 bucks a pop, or an apparent equivalent for 9 buckshere.

If you've used it, is it worth it? I couldn't really find any reviews that said anything except that its a PITA to put on correctly.

Sorry for posting here, but I couldn't find a miscellaneous topics category..

Because I have a screen protector for my Palm, but I don't think I'd ever take a key to it....

I've been looking for an Ipod condom that would still allow it to fit in a dock. If this stuff lives up to its promise, I think I've found my holy grail.

The site for invisible shield also has something called applepolish that looks like a high powered scratch remover.

I've had one for a year, it's a life saver. Or Ipod saver, I guess. The best thing about it is that the silicon gives it a little shock-protection, which came in handy the one stupid time I placed my Ipod on top of a pile of crap I was getting out of my car. I moved the wrong way and down she went, hitting the ground with a noisy thonk. I picked it up, turned it on, looked it over, and everything was fine! I know had I not had the Iskin, it would have been dented and scratched - if not worse. The other good thing is that the silicon is a bit sticky and gives it a bit of an anti-skid surface, so I don't worry having it on my desk when I move around while my headphones are on. It won't just go flying off the desk when I reach the length of the 'phones wire.

One tip: wash the Iskin in soap and water, let it dry, and you won't find anywhere near as much lint accumulates. The first day I had mine on, it looked like I'd put it in with the wash, it was so covered in lint and other household junk.

word. my clear iskin got real nasty looking b/c of my landscaping work---i found that the best cleaning method was just to throw it in the dishwasher.

ive got a black skin now (i think its a Belkin brand). it doesnt show as much dirt but it doesnt have the screen protector that the iskin had.......

i got the invisible shield - it was a huge bitch to put on, but it works exactly as advertised, and adds almost no volume to your ipod. apart from installation, it's the ideal protection, imo.

Cool, I was hoping that someone had one. I'll deal with the installation if it does what I want it to. Just ordered, should be coming next week.

Hey Haquiel Oneal, splain me somethin - How does a case "add volume?" I have zero doubt that there's a great answer, but for the life of me I can't guess what it might be.

Length times width times height.

uh Huh. 3-dimensional volume, not audio volume. Well, that makes more sense. And was in No Way confusing.

It's times like these that I dislike having an IRiver. They do offer a skin but it's only for the H-100 models.
