My most anticipated would be The Pipettes.

I can't really think of any others right now, actually.

POP LEVI.

Pop Levi plays electric piano, farfisa, vibraphone, sitar, clarinet & percussion in Super Numeri, who rule you. The demos for the solo record he's recording this winter sound incredible. 'Psych' and 'pop' are really meager words for describing this.

Johnny Taint and the Cans of Piss.

though the recent "Humiliator" ep was gold, I'm still waiting for that full length.

Thanks for the skydivers' link, "Far Away" is by far one of my favorite indie scene singles.

Mellowdrone!

I saw I Love You is touring again. Does that mean they have a full length coming soon?

I just listened to this, and are you serious? What horrible, utter shite. Not an original, interesting, or enjoyable second in that entire song. blah

So, you basically mean not incredibly niche to appeal to your indie tastes, slightly similar to the mainstream rock to allow accesibility, and not ridiculously hard on the ears?

No, I simply mean that it reminds me of some horrible '80s movie (say, Heavenly Kid). You sit through 2 hours of crap, and then it's over, and you start to get out of your seat, thinking, "Thank God this shit is over, how could it get any worse?" Then the credit music starts up and the movie is instantly redeemed, and you poop yourself because the song sounds like two-and-a-half minutes of the "brown note." I guess what I'm saying is that I just don't like it, and I don't know what "indie tastes" means.
