I think I said 5-3 Bears yesterday.

I think the game will probably come down to special teams and quarterback play. I see the defenses and running games basically canceling each other out.....

BTW, I think the Bears will need to score at least 17 to win. Game will probably be like 17-13 with who ever gets to 17 winning.

I think the Panthers are in good shape. If it weren't pushing into the 40's here, I'd be more worried, but the weather is quite pleasant.

I agree with this. And I wouldn't bet against Brady.

I think this is a "year of destiny thing" for the Bears. And defense always seems to rise to the occasion in the playoffs. Bears: 17-9. Bears go the Superbowl and get blown out.

Or on Jake Plummer.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Washington beat Seattle.

I have little reason to believe that the Colts will lose to Pittsburgh, despite Joey Porter's belief that they "make it a thinking game, not a football game".

I think it's foolish to bet against the Patriots until after they lose.

I hope the Panthers, with their 90s Xtreme Heavy Metal Motif, and the Bears, who should have just gone with history and signed Trent Dilfer, both lose.

I'll take Seattle by three, Denver by at least 7, Indianapolis by at least 13 and Carolina by 6. I have a feeling I will be wrong on the Bears and that Indianapolis won't cover, but I also have a feeling that Denver beats NE worse, thanks to that Mile High Crowd.

i didn't post 'em here but i went 4-0 last week. i'm special.

50% easy calls this week. 50% tough.

easy ones: indi & seattle

tough ones: denver & carolina

i think it could easily go the other way for those tough games. i'm going to the bronco game -- my first playoff game. i never had a friend or family member who had pack tickets. :( (wife's friend is a season ticket holder for 40+ years.)
