i agree with this but SNL is still going to suck.

almost every SNL skit I have seen in the past 3 years has sucked. they are such amatures, especially the way they read right from the cue cards. there is no impulsive comedy bones in their bodies.

there is at least one okay sketch every week. (and it's been TACO TOWN, like, thrice already this season.) you people are tough. it's never going to be great again, so let's lower the standards a little.

Hasn't SNL always kinda sucked? Everybody thinks there is some golden age of greatness - depending on how old you are, it revolves around Belushi, Murphy, or Farley - but it's always been really spotty when taken in for 90 minutes. There are always clunkers, and I think taken on balance, it's pretty much same as it ever was.

Don't care too much for live Strokes, but I dig the new record - but in different ways than the first two.

And the musical guest always sound rotten on that show. Doesn't matter who it is.
