Here's a track of the Rubber Soul Tribute album that was released last year.

I thought the Ted Leo track was fairly interesting (can't say the same for the rest) so I'm posting it here if anyone is interested.

The first couple times I listened to this track I thought the CD was fucked up.

In that completely-ignore-the-original-melody way, the Sufjan Stevens cover of "What Goes On" is pretty interesting. I like the country-ish "Think For Yourself" (who the hell is the Yonder Mountain String Band?) and Ben Lee's slowed-down "In My Life."

Low's version of "Nowhere Man" is kinda blah, and you'd never really guess it was Low unless you recognized Mimi's voice.

I wonder if everyone on this record will be forever cursed for having participated in it. Like, horrible happenings befall all of them...like those archaeologists who found King Tut.

That'd be pretty sweet.
