Debuts tonight. Obviously, the gf is beside herself.

I guess the deal this time is that there will be four tribes of four instead of two tribes of eight: older women, younger women, older men, younger men.

And somehow, when you get voted out, you get sent to this Exile Island.

Who's down? Opa? Rads? DayStar?

me.
most definitely me.

maybe this will make it a little more interesting.
hope they've mixed up the "cast" a little. the last few seasons have been pretty generic.
give me the good ol' days where a frank and a brandon (brendan?) could really mix it up.

oh yeah, and food. these people have been given too much food.

tina scheer/45/hayward,wi
"Scheer is the owner of the World Champion Lumberjills, "Chics with Axes," a traveling group of female lumberjacks."

Aras Baskauskas completed his undergraduate program in three years and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine. In 2003, he was named one of UC Irvine's "Most Eligible Bachelors" in the student newspaper.

Baskauskas continued his education at UC Irvine and graduated from the Graduate School of Management, where he received his Masters in Business Administration. He is proudest of being the only student to have played NCAA Men's Division One basketball on scholarship while in the MBA program.

Baskauskas is a former professional basketball player, having played briefly overseas in Lithuania. After leaving the court, Aras moved to Capetown, South Africa, where he opened up a donation-based yoga studio. He currently works as a yoga instructor in Santa Monica, California. His hobbies include meditation, golf and surfing. He describes himself as outgoing, compassionate and genuine.

Baskauskas is currently single and living in Santa Monica, California. His birth date is September 26, 1981.

I smell an OPA! man-crush with this Greek.

And I guess my preliminary favorite is this broad since she went to UGA and likes Widespread Panic.

I'm down with this as well, although I'm going to see Stars tonight, so the wife is taping it for me. I'll be avoiding this thread until the weekend.

This one does seem relatively different from previous seasons, so I'm hopeful, but the season is only as good as the contestants. I want more evil people.

Right On!

How and WHY would you ever want to be on a show that is all outdoors and living on your own? Can you imagine Cirie on the Exile Island? Sheesh! Leaves EEEEK!

I can't believe they voted off Tina. That sealed the deal. The remaining older women will be the next three voted off.

I love the idea of an island of exile. This season looks to be very rad.

And yeah, the older women are doomed.

I would have volunteered to be on Exile Island. What a collection of dum-dums this is.

That brother is a real street from South Central so we can only pray that he goes bucky and chokes somebody out at some point.

They're totally doomed - unless the producers rig some kind of "surprise twist" into the next episode in order to even things up a little.

And what is up with all that praying to Jesus shit? As if Jesus watches Survivor - I'm sure up in heaven they're wired up with full satellite service, porn channels included, and, seeing as JC is from the middle east, I'd be willing to bet he's always hunkered down in front of some boring-ass soccer game.

The younger guys are doomed as well. Dumb as a bag of dead hamsters.

Oh hell yeah...:D...but he's not Greek. I think he's Lithuanian, Russian, etc. But he's cute. And men who do yoga are soooo damn hot.

But I'm a little bummed out that there's no bitchy gay dude this year. Who's gonna represent?

I think the Exile Island thing is awesome, I'm not sure the older women deserve to have their own tribe. Who's gonna do all that manly stuff like spear fish?

The older men tribe is by far the strongest, with only the younger women providing any sort of viable challenge. The older women are pretty weak, and the younger men are PAFUCKINGTHETIC!!!

Scared of leaves is classic, as is trying to go cold turkey from a 3-pack-a-day habit by going on Survivor. This season will only be worth it for me if somebody attacks snarky Probst during Tribal Council.

That hot rocket scientist is genius by making the others think she found the hidden immunity idol, so nobody will ever bother wasting votes on her. And she's hot.
