I think it would make it look more obvious to people around here. I don't see too many open container violations around here except for the parking lot by the UNL Broadcasting building that has been deemed the drunk lot for students parking their cars and going to downtown bars.
I'm opposed to just drinking a beer outdoors on some random street corner in some parking lot, but I'd like to be able to legally drink at a public park or while I fish. It would also help make concerts in the park by has been bands more entertaining and worthwhile.
