I dunno, why not.

Hey.

3.4 - Sin-e. That's tonight. We go on around midnight. Woo-hoo.
3.8 - Portsmouth, NH w/ Aberdeen City
3.9 - Great Scott w/ The Boy Least Likely To
3.11 - Philadelphia, Manhattan Room w/ Vague Angels, The End of the World
3.31 - Northsix w/ I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness

Here's the "Why This" video again. This time at Google Vids.

We'll be on official vacation for April. Thom'll be in the south Pacific, I'll be in India. I can't speak to the whereabouts of the other 2. The album release thing continues its odd, quirky form of progress - we've received offers, had phone calls returned, etc. but frankly, we're still looking for the right fit.

May-June east coast dates with the Wrens are in the works. Of course, that could very well mean fall of '06. :)

And lastly, get thee to our myspace page to hear some of the album tracks. I think they are best experienced at a louder volume.

Speaking of the Wrens, they rocked London pretty hard on Saturday. The Favours and The Immediate opened. Everything except the intro was from the Meadowlands. "This Boy Is Exhausted" has evolved into an ass-kicker. So much energy and gratitude during the whole set. Would have loved to hear "I've Made Enough Friends", but no complaints otherwise. Glad I took advantage.

Hey Kevin, sorry I didn't make it out. I had forgotten I told a friend I'd see Smoking Popes at North Six, and the train service was not-a so nice.

Aaron - we totally wanted to track you and KT down for brunch this morning, but we both didn't have either of your numbers. We went to Miracle Grill. Very good...and cheap!

As soon as we get a little more love from the people with money, we'll be able to hit the south and west (of Philly). Trust me, getting the chance to do that kinda keeps us going...

What a whirlwind of a weekend.

Katie wrote a nice piece in CMJ's monthly when Meadowlands was released about how the label's head was so frustrated with the Wrens after Secaucus that he promised to make a star out of the next person who walked in the label's office. Enter Scott Stapp.

I play the non-black Rickenbacker and occasionally "sing."

you all should be seeing them, it was a great show.

KPH, both my lady friend and her pal said the song you sang was their favorite. so uh, don't sell yourself short.

Awww shucks y'all. Much too kind! Glad to hear that you like what ya heard...

And Cotton, that seriously was one of the best shows we've ever played as a band. I hope we're that "on" later this month...
