I don't think I've seen anyone's opinions on this record yet. Please share. Personally, I'm disappointed in it. There are a couple songs I like, but I had high expectations after Hearts of Oak and Tyranny and Shake the Sheets comes up short. I guess it could grow on me, but I just haven't felt like listening to it. I feel like the songs are kinda more rock-ish, and don't really have the usual great TL melodies. It acutally could be my biggest disappointment of 2004. |

It's not as good as his last two, but it's still better than 95% of what's out there. I think it will be a grower. I do like it, but he's set a very high bar for himself with the quality of his previous albums. It should make my Best of 2004 list, but probably won't end up in the Top 5. |

I should add that this album's strength is also its weakness: Leo brings the RAWK. I think his fans (myself included) like him more when he does the whole multi-genre sound thing, rather than go straight-forward rock. Don't get me wrong -- he rocks very well -- but I really enjoy the versatility he's shown in previous releases. He's at his best when he's mixing up the style and tempo from track to track. |

First song rocks, which is good, cause I could use a little rock these days. The second song sounds an awful lot like "Friction" by Television, only sped up. |

Oh please please don't be true. It'll kill me if this album sucks. It's one of my most anticipated albums of the year. |

I like this, it's nice and upbeat + fun, which is something I haven't been getting my RDA of lately. Right now, and I'm about halfway through this, I would rank them thusly: Tyranny of Distance > Shake the Sheets > Hearts of Oak |

Me & Mia is my favorite song on this album. I really like this album, it will be in my Top 20. |
