the nations premier conference begins its tournament in under an hour.

hopefully wake forest can knock off florida state.

maryland is gonna need 2 wins to even have a chance to go to the big dance...which means they'll need to beat boston college. BUT, first things first...gotta beat georgia tech tonight.

oh, and fuck duke.

I don't expect NC State to win the damn thing, but they need to start playing better as we head into the tournament. At least they have Cam Bennerman back from a strained hamstring. We lost to Wake with Bennerman (our leading scorer) out and beat FSU comfortably the last time we played them (18 or so, though at home), but I'm just hoping we win tomorrow and advance to the semis on Saturday. We will end up playing Duke if we do.

edit: Fuck Dook.

Who's older: Gerry McNamara or Scott Skiles?

It seems like McNamara was playing when Syracuse lost to Kentucky in the finals.

Something about McNamara just irks me. I think it's his face. Him and Devendorf both.

No seriously, his face reminds me of a punk. Believe me, I'm not lying.

Passion has nothing to do with it. We had Julius Hodge the past 4 years.

I'll give you Devendorf, his eyes are droopy, but to their credit those guys play with moxie and their faces usually reflect that.

This thread title needs to be changed to Big East Tourney (or does McNamara need his own thread?)
