Don't get me wrong. I think it is just a dandy little invention. However, when you watch t.v. like most of this country still does, it makes me feel like my head is going to explode. I find myself feeling like I do when the microwave is broken. haha

more than just one feeling. Hungry, sure. But impatient as well.

what is bum ching? is that the sound of the drumming after a "clever" joke? I would think it more to be <boo-donk>.

It's a real bass-ey sound from the bass drum....More of a boom than a boo. Not boo like what a ghost does.

Revision: <Boom-donk>

I find myself reaching for an imaginary Tivo remote when I'm in a movie theatre and didn't hear what the actor said. When I'm at my friend's house, I reach for his non-Tivo remote to fast forward/rewind. We also call the "mute" button his version of Tivo during commercials. "What do you mean you watched all of the Oscars? Why, I skipped right over those boring awards!" Yeah, I get cocky about it. Tivo = Satan, but in a lovable, huggable way.

I find myself doing this with *everything* right now - particularly the radio.

Not good.

A problem for me as well.

Likewise, I have the same reaction when listening to the radio (typically NPR), and I didn't quite catch something that was said... I always wish I had a remote to rewind and listen to it again!

I tend not to listen to the radio as closely as I used to, thinking I can rewind if I miss something.
