I'm sitting in my office. I've been up since 4am and working since 6am. I have to be here until 3pm, and I have this dreadful feeling the day will be worse than yesterday.
That is all

Yeah, I finally get a day to sleep in, Charlie's at his dad's. And what do I do? Wake up at 6:45 as if he was here. grrrrrrr

Didn't help that the baby was knocking on me, at least that's what it felt like. So that's hard to sleep through. Apparently she decided it was time to wake up.

Making my decaf coffee right now and working on a grocery list. Awesome!

aren't kids the most fun thing to have... mine like to get up at six. The wife and I trade off as to who gets to rise and barely shine with them. I got short straw this morning.

Good luck at work. Steal stuff from them to make it even. No one can have too many staplers.

The store has been slow. If this Saturday is like last Saturday I'm bringing in two movies.

Oooh, I'm going to be bored. If any of you find yourselves in Vermont, stop and say hi. Call me, text me, fax me, anything.

Wait til he stops reading small books and starts throwing medical journals and War Peace on you.

I like that Timmy. That's cute.

Wait til he gets to be 8, then it's " Can I play Gamecube now??". You look at clock, it's 7:30 am, mumble No go find something else to do. Then fifteen minutes later you wake to find him eating any and all junk food he could rummage for in the house and playing Star Wars with the cats(and the cats aren't playing because they want to).

As soon as I could climb out of my crib, I was turning on the tv and getting whatever sort of food I could get. I think by age 4 or 5 I was getting my own bowl of cereal long before my parents woke up. My mom would usually here the tv and check it out, but I wouldn't usually try to wake them up.

Hopefully he won't be living at home when this happens.

Jenn, that is funny. We caught Noah the other morning in the fridge breaking eggs all over the place. Johanna was NOT happy. haha, I thought it was funny.

When I was little I never got up early, and refused to go to bed early too. I regularly slept until 10am or so (except when I had to get up for school, which sucked). I guess it was pretty obvious early on that I was going to be a night owl. Also sleeping in and sleeping long amounts of time run in my family; i.e. we'll sleep all day for no reason if there is nothing that wakes us up. It's commonly known as the Appel Sleeping Gene.

it's 12:30 and my son is still sleeping.
the only reason i woke up at 10 was to drive my daughter to work.
we are a family of ne'er do wells and slugs.

It's 11:50am CST, I am more than half way done with my day and finishing my lunch break. My boss still hasn't came yet, so work has been super easy.
I'll have to do a little more work with the roller derby being held tonight, but that won't be so bad.
I now plan on attending the roller derby since everyone I know who is involved with it will probably allow me to come in free.

Its 12:55pm est

I have been working all morning (side job at home - computer programming) - my head is about to explode. The only thing keeping me sane is listening to the Mix Exchange discs - I am listening to naked's right now. So far-so good.
