And he did a really good job too. The best performance of the night in my opinion, with Katherine a close second. Elliott and Paris were a bit of a disappointment.

And Simon killing Chris singing a Creed song was priceless. He called him "self-indulgent" and that "he crossed the line by singing a Creed song". Yet, he praised him last week for not willing to compromise. Hmmm...which is it?

I don't think that's how it works, Jen. I think you're supposed to vote for your favorite. Not who you're going to vote off.

Taylor Hicks gets my vote for the rest of the competition. Even if he screws up. I was taken aback by the Ray LaMontagne choice. I thought he did a perfect job of that song and he has the perfect voice for it. Best song choice of the season so far.

Also, I thought Mandisa did just as bad as Lisa. Bucky actually did a decent job this week.

Elliott, my former favorite, was forgettable. So was Kellie.

I think that McPhee may be in the final two contestants.

Yeah, I haven't watched American Idol for the last few seasons, but when my brother told me someone sang a Ray LaMontagne song I had to check it out. I thought that was pretty awesome.
