I just purchased tickets to this today and thought I would share the lineup as it has not been terribly well publicized and I think there's a few of you on here who might enjoy this little festival.

June 9-11

Madrone Tree
Bobby Birdman
Sir Richard Bishop
Lee Baggett
Meric Long
Skygreen Leopards
Nick Castro
Whsyp
Little Wings
Citay
Ascended Master
James Blackshaw
Sharron Kraus
Sean Smith
Colossal Yes
Tim Bluhm

Tickets are pricey at $75 for all three days, but it's three days of great folk (Richard Bishop and James Blackshaw alone are worth the price) out in the forests of Big Sur. Great camping, great food, not many people, good times. The shows are only at night, but that leaves the days to wander around the forests and beaches of Big Sur in a haze, which I am personally looking forward to very much. Just thought I'd share this in case anyone might be interested.

Guess I should have provided a link as well:

It's in there under music events somewhere, but there's some great pictures of the woods on there as well.

If you like Blackshaw you would like a lot of these artists, particularly the afforementioned Sir Richard Bishop (also with the Sun City Girls) who is just below Jack Rose and Glenn Jones on my list of heirs to the throne of Fahey. Both Sean Smith and Tim Bluhm kind of follow in that feel as well, but certainly not as good.
