Do you ever do something nice for someone unexpectately? I like to every now and then. Not necessarily random, though i do that less often, but more unexpected as in somebody does something for you that some way makes your day a little brighter and you in return, do the same (that has to be a run on sentence :?: ) Maybe I'm just getting soft

i give up my seat on the subway for elderly people, pregnant ladies, ladies with strollers. you'd be surprise at how many rude people there are on the subway. sometimes i just want to punch them in the neck.

I try to do nice things for people. I've helped moms carry strollers off the el, given up seats for people, held doors, stuff like that. Lately, even though she drives me absolutely apeshit, I've been trying to call my grandmother more since that's really all she asks of me.

I find that when I'm nice to people, I feel better about myself. When I'm a bitchy jagoff, I feel like crap.

I go out of my way to raise the spirits of my illustrators from time to time. It's a nice respite from my usual bitchiness.

I was in (or still am in) a certain kind of training or spiritual practice wherein you did something good for someone else everyday without telling them or anyone else.

It had an edifying effect, no doubt. Nothing like killing the fucking ego to get happier.

Would walking by the skinny cat and not acting on the cat food buying impulse be considered assholish?

Billy is putting us up for a week.

That was awfully nice.

We're doing our best to be good houseguests.

I'm a heavy-handed believer in karma and "the golden rule" so I tend to try to open/hold doors for people, or spare change, etc.
