anyone see her on her recent tour???

how were the shows, setlist, etc...

I'm going on Friday in Atlanta if anyone wants to join me.

Saw her 3/31 in Chicago. Really good. Played a lot of stuff off the new album, but a good mix of songs off Tigers, Blacklisted, and Furnace as well.

So what's up dude?

I may go to this. I'm trying to rope some other folks into going as well.

The High Dials are opening which I've heard good things about.

I saw her on the Blacklisted tour and she was great.

my wife saw her last night, i'll be sure to ask how that was.

a friend saw her in philly and said she could stand to have a few upbeat songs in her set.

I can see this. She's kind of in that grey area where she could have a show where everyone is sitting down drinking wine or she could have a mid tempo rock show where folks are standing and drinking beer.

Her voice/songwriting is the centerpiece and it's been my experience that most "vocalist shows" are never too rockin but I could stand to listen to her for a couple hours.

saw her friday. felt much more mellow than when i saw her with the sadies. she was hilarious, though. she's kinda sick right now and you could tell it was effecting her, but she bulldozed through a lot of favorites (though, not "twist the knife"). she could pop blackheads on stage and people would still love her.

OH AND I STOOD NEXT TO DAVID BYRNE THE WHOLE TIME. we even said two sentences to each other it was so awesome.
