Sorry, but I have to boast. My oldest son, in this first league game last night, threw a complete game (6 inn.) no hitter, striking out 18 (that's everyone). He did walk three, but hey, he's 12.

Goddamn.
Impressive.
Don't let the Cubs sign him up. That's a sure way to screw up his arm.

Awesome
I would be bragging like no other if I was your kid and you.
I even talked shit after I placed 2nd at my first wrestling meet, though not is much as when I placed in two weight classes at one meet my Freshman year.

No. Fastball (two- and four-seam) and change-up.

Also Don't let him attend Southeast Missouri State on a Baseball scholarship, they made a kid throw 193 pitches in a win over Missouri last week.

MC, you are sitting on a gold mine, ESPECIALLY if he's a lefty! Just make sure he signs with either the Astros or Rangers. Do NOT accept any offers from Big Stein, no matter how lucrative!!!

Good for you. Throwing that shit too young is the road to ruin.

And congrats to you and your boy.

By the way, I was at the O's game last night (15-1 drubbing, oh yeah!), and my father and I were wondering.

Where is Ben McDonald these days?
