so me and the Mrs. were at a friend's house last night, and they break out Guitar Hero. I've only heard things about this, never played or watched, and holy shit, it might be the most brilliant game ever. After playing "More Than a Feeling" on expert, I'm going to be seeing those little colored dots in my nightmares.

but I had to leave there after about 30 minutes to go to practice. so the Mrs. stays while I go to practice. This morning before she left for work she says "I beat the shit out of Ziggy Stardust but Iron Man was throwing me for a loop. We're buying this game tonight."

:rawk::rawk::rawk::rawk::rawk::rawk::rawk::rawk:

anyone else played this? $70 is pretty pricey, but man it's something else.

I've played it but my hand eye cordination wasn't up to speed and I sucked at it. I think I will just stick to the real guitar. It is a cool concept though and everyone else who was playing had a great time and did a lot better than me. The only song that I could make it through was I Love Rock andd Roll on the beginning level.

yeah, i didn't stick around long enough to get my bearings. the solos on the harder levels are really tricky. but this game is a great way to waste a weekend.

I've spent the last couple weeks off and on spending my lunch break at the local Fry's Electronics playing this. I'm getting it in another week or so.

And yes, very addictive and a lot more fun than what you might imagine.
