Music downloading programs

at my college any p2p programs don't work (in order to keep the internet faster) so i can't download any music. I'm not a big downloader of music, but i like to grab the odd song every now and then, especially of bands ive never heard before. Anyone know of any free programs that might work in this situation?

yeah, college internet bans pretty much anything that isnt port 80, meaning you can only use your browser. get acquainted with music blogs.
