I'm buzzing. There was free beer, and I drank a lot of it. I'm now trying to finish writing my section of a paper that's due NOW, as well as correct the other 2 thirds of it, each of which was written by well-meaning foreigners whose grasp of engrish is maddening on paper.

Again, this shit is due imminently. And the final for the same class is in...(glance@watch) ... 11 hours. I have this magical, beer-induced theory that I can just *not study for it* and everything will turn out fine, not unlike Homer's Nuclear Phsyics final scenario, where he says he's gonna go in, hide under a pile of caots, and all's well.

ugh.

i have 40 pages of Property Transactions outline sitting next to me on the ottoman while I drink a Blue Heron Pale Ale and wait for my friend to get over here (while he avoids studying Corporate and Partership Tax) so we can go get drunk. its a disease.

dude - 10 pages double spaced, with a huge title, and huge margins is like a couple paragraphs of actual writing.

Just surrender. It's what the French would do.

I learned so much about france and the great french people in my time here - from 90 centime wine to a cultural appreciation of really good underwear. But mostly I learned about myself - the things that matter most to me, that comprise my identity as a man and an american as well as an artist and member of the international community all true artists share. The same, but different. Please let me stay.

We could be related. Between this and the bike lust, anyway.

Pay your bills online. Then you don't need the pen and have a free drinkin' hand.

Duh.

...this isn't 100% bullshit, but it's also 0% derived from any sort of "learning," as the title would suggest. I'm just eyeballing it, taking a stab, and then giving it the silver tongue treatment as best I can.

Beer!

I just completed a thermodynamic jet engine fuel comparison and am almost done with a MATLAB engineering statistics report. And I have back to back exams tomorrow in Advanced Engineering Math II and Strength of Materials. Only 17 hours to freedom.

No, he was writing a sappy email to his favorite professor, whose swan song "open bar" event he had to miss because his wife had an attack of the Emotionals.

He deserved an email. The man is amazing.
