And bathe in all the cash? And live like a king and travel around Europe? And buy tickets to a World Cup Game instead? Life is difficult.

I thought you were just complaining about people who do this to turn a profit.

Yeah, I hate people who do that...but what a fucking profit.

I definitely wouldn't do this, seeing them is literally worth more than any amount of money to me, but it's going to be semi-hard to resist when the ticket I hold is worth 1,000 dollars.

I always put myself in the fan's place. You would basically be denying that person with limited income -- the guy who REALLY wants to go and can't because some ass is selling their ticket for a lotta cash.

yeah, but i'm that person with limited income who REALLY wants to go. it just might make more sense for me financially to have $1000 than see radiohead. between that and my scholarship that i got i'd be nearly done paying for my tuition next semester.

I dunno, I am not convinced any band is worth an opportunity cost of your rent money. It's not like you bought more than you wanted to screw other fans. At 1k, I think I would sell.

Why is that 1/3 of people more correct than those of us suggesting you sell up?

At a certain point, you have to say if someone is stupid enough to pay you $1000 for Radiohead tix then the jokes on them. I'd really love to see them, but at a certain point it becomes--is the experience going to be that amazing.

i'd sell them. I've bought tickets to nine inch nails shows explicitly to do just that, and i made money and didn't bat an eye that some hot topic fatty couldn't sing along to Head Like a Hole.

The polls don't lie.

I have never/would never pay more than $60 for a concert. You didn't buy it specifically to sell so you're not as bad as the scalpers. You just changed your mind after.
