These guys are playing in town tonight. I wish I hadn't gotten so damn shitfaced yesterday for the Flaming Lips or I'd probably go see em. As it is all I can think of is bed, tv, and the AC turned down to 60.

I like this record. I usually pick up a few albums every year that are outside of the traditional realm of rock/country/etc.. I view it as an album where these guys aren't trying to entertain you. They're making an artistic statement.

It's one of those albums that I appreciate more than really enjoy. If that makes any sense.

If you want to clear a room at a party. Put this record on. I dig that about it though.

If I hadn't been so shitfaced all weekend and so stressed out today, I'd definitely be going. As it is, I'm definitely not, and that kinda sucks. I'd be really interested in seeing how this stuff works live. I was planning on going to this show as soon as I heard about it a few months ago.

This album is certainly polarizing. There are some that love it and will rank it top 5, while others are calling it unlistenable. I like albums that do that. Count me in the former group.

I'm seeing these guys in Salt Lake next month (if they don't cancel the show for poor ticket sales)---really looking forward to it.
