i'll be drinking in red hook this evening, although perhaps that is not far away enough from the island for you. however, it is fucking cheap: bucket of 4 schlitz = $5 = sweet.

wow, that is pretty cheap. where in the hook? at 'the hook'?
there're a couple of places on atlantic to get cheap pbr's, too. hank's has em at 2 bucks a pop and then last exit has a bucket of 6 for 10 bucks or something like that...

i know plenty of places for cheap pbr in the BK, and i live not too far away from hanks. tonight i'll be at moonshine, which is my current favorite bar in the 'hook. they have that same bucket special for PBR, Schaefer, Stroh's, Rheingold, ect... however, i'd forgotten how delicious schlitz is. and it is the beer that made milwaukee famous.

i usually pop in to hank's at least once a week for a couple, if nothing else. sunday night we ended up being the honorary bbq minders and had the extreme pleasure of cooking dogs & brats for the entire bar for almost 6 hours.
heard only good things about moonshine, thus far, just havent gotten over there. also been dying to check out pioneer, any thoughts on the place? worth it? not worth it?

and TT, i think you prob live near us...are you after the church stop on the f?
