Hi, here's some news....

I've been busy for a while touring with Arab Strap but I've some free time now so I've decided to start recording another album. You'll hopefully be able to hear it sometime early next year. In the meantime though I now have a Myspace site because everyone else has one. I'll maybe put up some new demos in the coming months but I can't guarantee it because I lose interest in stuff like this as you can probably tell by the state of my website and lack of news etc. Well, that's not really my fault though as there hasn't really been any news this year so I'm not going to just send out newsletters announcing whenever I leave the house or something. And I don't know how to update the site but I'm currently looking into that. Well, it's on my list anyway.
I'll also be releasing a limited live album which will be available to buy online and at gigs. It was recorded last Winter at the Bush Hall in London and should be available this Summer if I hurry up and mix it and get the artwork finished. It was an acoustic gig and features songs from my first and second albums as well as some newer songs that probably won't make it onto my third. The working title is currently "Malcolm Middleton - Live At The Bush Hall", which is the same as it was last week.
I'll be playing the Green Man Festival in Wales again this year which is good because the line-up is great and it saves me from having to buy a ticket. You can catch me playing solo/acoustic on the new "Green Man Cafe" stage on Saturday 19th August.

I think that's it.

Malcolm.
