I caught Mammatus in Toronto over the weekend, with aboslutely no preconception of what they do. They did heavy low dynamic riffy progressive psychadelic metal music. Quite a bit like Sleep, and hardly less awesome.

They're touring with Residual Echoes who are also on Holy Mountain. They too put on a great show. Very honest psychadelic rock. Like Comets On Fire's younger cousin.
