Heading to the Jersey Shore with the GF for a mini extend the weekend vactation. Its best not rain!

Today: Wait around the office to do about 36 minutes of work.
Drive to Montgomery. Either go to dinner or go to a movie. Maybe just stay in and watch a movie we rented last week but never watched and never returned.

Tomorrow: Clean a few rooms in my house that have gone from "disaray" to "al-zarqawi." Try to convince my friend to go to the Alexander City Jazz Festival to see The Deadstring Bros...which won't happen because everyone I know here is a damn old pussy.

Sunday: MON. G. ER.

Tonight: Making dirty martinis and chillin' at home...yes, all alone, but if anyone of would like to come over, you're more than welcomed. Try to convince sis to have birthday drinks.

Saturday: Getting hair tinted and trimmed, pedicure, manicure. Going to boss' house for sushi and sake dinner.

Sunday: Late morning World Cup party to watch Portugal vs Angola. Do some shopping, catch up on the rest of my life.

not sure. wife's best friend is in town thru the weekend, but friend's mom joins in the fun on the weekend. don't know how that'll work out. i'm hoping for some time to unwind while she has fun.

my two oldest friends are marrying each other. It's gonna be handful. I will have many, many drinks.

Today - last day of uni lectures for semester. Handed in final history essay, worked for a few hours, had drinks with my friend's engineering friends who brought a keg. Totally forgot about a pub crawl I was meant to go on that from the sounds of a text msg convo has been pretty good - a pub that usually plays the likes of Khe Sahn and Run to Paradise has apparently been playing a bunch of the Go! Team and Sleater-Kinney

Saturday - sleep in! Go music shopping to try to catch up on the mega list of 2006 cds I need to get. Going to see one of my favourite up-and-coming Australian bands who are over from Perth.

Sunday - more sleep. Maybe contemplate starting studying for exams

Monday - is a public holiday here, but I'll definitely need to be studying by now so it's pretty much wasted on me

Friday: First swim in our pool of the season (my daughters have been looking forward to this day for a long time)

Saturday: Daughter has 2 T-Ball games; Grill out for dinner; see "Thank You For Smoking" after kids are asleep

Sunday: Take daughters to see "Cars"; play bass at church in the evening

heading to aspen in a few hours for a chili cookoff/brewfest. medeski, martin and wood will be playing tonight (sweet) and johnny lang tomorrow night (meh). it will be nice to get up in the mountains and out of this heat.
