i just got a ds lite today. didn't pick up mario kart yet, but i have been enjoying new super mario bros. tons of old school fun.

i hear they are working on an opera browser for the ds. can't wait to hit obner from it.

I only played it once, but I was pretty disappointed with the play control on Mario Kart DS. It seemed a little too easy to steer, or like you couldn't go quite as fast or something. I think I prefer Mario Kart Super Circuit for the Gameboy Advance.

I really should upgrade to the DS Lite, though. Does it still play GBA games? If so, I highly recommend Mario + Luigi Superstar Saga. It is awesome. A little silly but awesome. Plus, you can play the original Mario Bros arcade game on it.

Picked one up last night and have Castlevania and Mario Kart on order. New SMB kills!

I really wish I could somehow justify buying a DS. I never spend any time in transit anywhere and wouldn't have any real use for a portable game system. They just seem so cool, though.
