i've had more than a few. but i'm home now...and all that was left in my fridge was a pumpkin ale from last fall.

and it's, surprisingly, quite tasty.

I went to Legal Seafoods and had a Legal Lemonade (it tasted pretty good) and then a Mai Tai that had like half a gallon of rum in it. It was kind of disgusting but I chugged it down before I left.

I'm about to mix me up a martini. Just got home, had a hard day at work and I deserve it, dammit.

Got a new job in NOHO (North Hollywood) and worked about 53 hours so far this week. Will put in about ten more tomorrow, sadly I miss The Fiery Furnaces tonight because I just couldn't do it.

I had about a half bottle of wine tonight because I had to rewind...

I went out and got two six packs last night after I found out we wouldn't be going to the free Bright Eyes show today due to car problems. I purchased the Kronenberg 1664 and the Mojo Pale Ale. I drank the Kronenberg last night. It was really smooth initially, but then started tasting like watered down Becks or Heineken. I don't know if it was the beer or the midnight snack, but I had some intestinal issues early this morning.
Now that I am right as rain, I plan on drinking the Pale Ale while watching the US game. If they start getting clobbered again, I'll watch the CWS.

Man, yesterday I had 4 bloody marys, 4 Miller Lites, 3 shots of Jameson, then I biked about 6 miles over to Old Town for the appreciation dinner for volunteers, and my buddies Pete and Specky were in similar shape, so we each killed at least a sixer of Stella, had some mostaciolli and fried chicken, little bit of red to wash it down, then the bike ride home. So I manage to get home, I'm off the bike, I'm fumbling for the key, next thing I know, WHAM the bike's on top of me and my head hit the pavement, luckily I'm still wearing my helmet. And I ended up with a decent gash on the back of the ankle.

Moral of the story, always wear a helmet.

Played the viaduct last night. I had alot of PBR. I don't know how much. But we played great, even though only our friends stuck around to see it, and then we nearly went to White Castle, but we ended up over at Clarke's on Belmont instead. I had a Denver Skillet and a choc. shake that they didn't charge me for. Then I drove our guitarist to his repair shop because an alarm went off, it was nothing, but on the way we saw the aftermath of an insane car crash, cabbie flipped over and another car was almost not quite sawed in half. Then Deena called cause she woke up and wanted to know if she was gonna have the truck to get to work or if she should take the bus. I don't know how it got to be past four in the morning. i don't know why I'm awake at 10:50. And I don't know why i'm starved when i pigged out like that. But I really don't know why I don't have a hangover cause I know I had a good amount of jager in between cans of delicious ice cold PBR.

This is what I found for Sex with an Alligator ... i'm not a huge fan of Jager, but I'd try it.

sweet and sour mix
Midori® melon liqueur
1/2 oz raspberry liqueur
1/2 oz Jagermeister® herbal liqueur

Add sweet and sour to shakers w/ice, shake and strain. Layer in razzberry liquor and jager. Razzberry should go to the bottom and jager should float on top.
Works best in Martini glass.

This was my bartender's version of the Sex with an Alligator --

Pineapple Juice (instead of sweet and sour mix)
Malibu Rum
Midori® melon liqueur
raspberry liqueur
Jagermeister® herbal liqueur

And fuck the martini glass, that shit was served in a tumbler. It reminded me of a concoction Dri would make.

Ohhh, and the drink got a Dri Seal of Approval. ;)
